E! Network lines up Tons of New Shows

E! Network who has been known to be the platform for many no name people including the Kardashians is about to freshen up their line up. The mega network is soon to acquire a bucket load of brand new shows including reality shows based on a country singer, boy band, and even to WWE Divas. E! had it's official reveal party this past Monday night and all the future stars of E! were out celebrate. One show that seemed interesting to me is a documentary entitled ''Inner Circle'' that will be based on celebrities looking back into their family tree finding out long lost family secrets. Other than that I'm not that into reality shows and the E! network in general. Although I'm sure many people who are fans will find this amusing at the most.

Scary Movie V Bombs

Scary Movie 5 proved itself to be a franchise that probably wasn’t worth reviving. Funny; A Haunted House was a modest hit and Scary Movie 5 bombs. Seems the Wayans Bros. finally got their revenge against Dimension. Back in 2006, Scary Movie 4 opened to over $40 million. Seven years later, Scary Movie 5 could only lure in $15 million. So why exactly did the film do so bad? Was it the lack of franchise star Anna Faris? Did audiences already get their fill of horror movie spoofing with A Haunted House? Were viewers put off by a marketing campaign built around Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan? Whatever the reason may be, the horrible reviews it got from critics could be a large reason.

McDonald's Apologizes for Unapproved Ad That Mocks Mental Illness PSAs

Last month, Ford made headlines for an allegedly unapproved ad featuring Silvio Berlusconi with a trunk full of gagged, hog tied, and crying women. The ad, found as a poster on the Boston metro, parodied mental health and depression PSAs: "You're not alone. Million of people love the Big Mac," the ad reads, next to the photo of a crying woman and an 800-number that connects to McDonald's corporate office. The McDonald's advertisement in question is part of a larger, unapproved, campaign that pokes fun at stereotypical subway ads. The personal injuries lawyer ad promises to "get you the sausage you deserve." The continuing education spoof reads, "It's never too late for an Angus Bacon Cheese."
Oh, McDonalds.

School shootings

Whenever you hear about school shootings you automatically think it's tragic. Apparently someone brought a rifle to a college nearby to the school in which I attend. I'm pretty sure there could very well be more to the story than I know. Anyways, school safety is always important. Believe it or not one time in elementary school I had a water gun which I was going to bring for recess and nearly got tackled completely on the ground by a teacher. Talk about the embarrassment she and I both had when it was revealed that it was a plastic water gun. Either way guns in school is horrible and has costed the lives of many innocent people. I can only hope these school shootings can only stop from now.
If you have ever known someone or been in a similar situation, sound off in the comments.

Shocking Reality TV Statistics

When you think of Reality TV, you think of the television genre that many people are guilty of watching at times. But, you would be a little surprised as to how much of an impact reality TV has on the state of California.

·         The number of shooting days for reality TV in Los Angeles rose 53% last year, making up about 40% of all on-location production.

·         Of the 240,000 entertainment jobs in Los Angeles, 30,000 are tied to Reality television.

·         Reality television episodes have increased to 57% of all television shows that can be found on your TV screens.

·         In 2000 there was nearly 4 reality television shows, by 2010 there were more than 320 reality shows.

To say that Reality television has taken over more than we could imagine would be an understatement. It seems as if it is the top form of getting entertained by television these days.

10 Year Plan

In the next ten years there is a lot that I would like to accomplish. Of course going to college and getting a great job is at the top of the list. My plan is to go to school and help develop my writing skills to showcase. Something that would interest me is something that I have been doing on and off through high school, acting. It really is something that has been a fun experience for me and something I would love to do more of in the next ten years. Getting and education and continuing to do things I love is pretty much my ten year plan and something that will keep me steady.
